I received my bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, earning a double major in both History and Criminal Justice. I then attended New England Law|Boston, where I received my Juris Doctorate. While in law school, I was a contributing member of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement and also served as the school’s American Bar Association representative. During my final year of school, I was honored with the C.A.L.I. “Excellence for the Future” award for my work in Trial Practice, a distinction reserved for the most outstanding student. During law school I was employed as a paralegal by O’Brien Law Offices, gaining valuable experience and learning from one of the best criminal defense and family law attorneys in the state.

Once I passed the Massachusetts bar, I decided to specialize exclusively in family law. In early years of my career, I was voted a 'Rising Star’ several years in a row by SuperLawyers Magazine, a recognition which is only given to the top 5% of attorneys under 40 years old in Massachusetts.

Issues of the heart are particularly stressful and private. I strive to deliver professional advice with a personal touch. I understand that when clients hire me to assist them in any family law matter, whether it be a divorce, modification, child custody, parental alienation, or a child removal case, they want someone who is diligent, prepared, and aggressive in his representation of them. I am that attorney. I take pride in being approachable and down to Earth when it comes to my clients, as it is vital that they feel comfortable with me as a person, and in our relationship, so that the lines of communication between us always remain open. I have extensive experience advocating for my clients both during negotiations with opposing parties and in court. I am also a divorce mediator where I meet with both parties together. During mediation, I work with clients to resolve their cases in a more efficient and less costly manner than is often the case with litigation where each party uses their own attorneys.
